Marion Bay Coastcare Inc

Marion Bay Coastcare (MBC Inc) is a small community group interested in caring for the foreshore of Marion Bay. 

MBC aims to maintain the health and biodiversity of the natural environment along the beaches and related areas of Marion Bay, including Boomer Bay, Blackman Lagoon, and Marchwiel Salt Marsh.

MBCC meet the second Sunday of every month to:

 Revegetate: Using native trees shrubs and grasses

 Control environmental weeds eg. Sea spurge, boneseed

 Help keep our beaches and coastline clean and free from pests

 We participate in

 -Beach walks

 -Plant identification and surveys

-Wildlife and Birdwatching

Regular Events:
2nd Sunday of the month. 9:30-12:30. Locations vary around Marion Bay
