Rossarden Landcare Group
Our group aims to continue to remove the massive infestation of Broom weed in and around the town of Rossarden, and so reduce fire risk to homes and the local community. We are now part of the local Fire Brigade and work with land owners, including absentee land owners, and have been involved in a Green Army project as the broom weed infestation was far too great to deal with by ourselves. We hold regular working bees, fire training exercises to burn the piles of broom and BBQs to which all 49 residents are invited.
