Gorse Be Gone
Gorse be Gone is a landholder community group in Petchey's Bay which focusses on revegetating land to eradicate gorse and to improve biodiversity in the area. Our group is focusing on overcoming gorse by shading it out with native plants and trees suitable to Huon Valley area. Our revegetation efforts also look to improve riparian environments, reduce erosion and improve habitat for endangered and rare animals such as swift parrots and raptors.
