The objects and purposes of the Association consist of the basic objects of the Association and the following objects and purposes:

(a) enhance and care for the natural bushland in the Devonport Council area;

(b) strengthen community connection with the natural environment and build community knowledge by providing opportunities for education and knowledge sharing, and for participation in on-ground works and celebratory events;

(c) develop and implement local management plans to strengthen the protection, vitality and resilience of the natural areas;

(d) educate and raise awareness within the community about the importance of local native vegetation;

(e) monitor and encourage ecologically sustainable development within the Devonport Council area;

(f) the doing of any lawful thing incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objects or purposes of the Association.
