Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary

Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary sees considerable value in being an active member of Landcare Tasmania in regards to the regeneration and revegetation of its 85 acre parcel of native Tasmanian forest and wildlife habitat. Much of this bushland, adjoining the Sanctuary's fenced wildlife conservation breeding facilities, is home to various threatened species, including mating pairs of wedge-tailed eagles, white goshawks, masked owls etc, as well being as a 'soft release' home for rescued and rehabilitated injured Tasmanian wildlife.
The Sanctuary would be looking at support in terms of engaging a consultant 'weed specialist'  for advice, specifically regarding sycamore management, as well as support through Landcare volunteer resources to implement required actions and undertake regeneration efforts.
