Waimea Heights Primary School
We are starting a project to remove Cottoneaster weeds and replace with a native garden, to create a native habitat and create a diverse microbiome and improve water retention. The project is for students, parents and staff. We aim for the classes to get involved in monitoring the change in bird and insect species. The students will also have the opportunity to get involved in planting and maintenance.
