The Annual General Meeting of Landcare Tasmania Inc. was held on Friday 17th November at 5:00 pm in Hobart at RACV Hobart Hotel, and online via Zoom.
The AGM was an important opportunity for members to become informed of key activities for the last financial year, ask questions, and to have their say in approving the financial reports and electing the people who will have carriage of the organisation over the coming year. All motions were passed.
Landcare Tasmania members and their volunteers really are the foundation of the entire grassroots community Landcare movement. We’d like to recognise and thank every single one of you who took action to care for the land, water, flora, and fauna of lutruwita/Tasmania this year. No matter how big or small the contribution, you’ve made a difference. Please read all about our year in the 2022-23 Annual Report.
Following the 2022-2023 AGM we'd like to introduce you to the newly elected and re-elected representatives on our Members Council:

Those with continuing terms on the Members Council are: Todd Dudley, Michael Nichols, Kerry Bridle, Rene Raichert.
We also recognise the valuable contributions that the exiting members council representatives have made to the organisation. Thank you Andrew Doube, Ben Mildren, Brian Baxter, and Ellen Sorenson. It's difficult to imagine the Members Council without Brian - he's been involved since before the current governance structure, as part of Landcare Tasmania's General Committee. His commitment and contributions are commendable. We can't thank Brian enough!
