Derwent Catchment Project Ragwort Removal 10-11 Feb

The Derwent Catchment Project (formerly Derwent Catchment NRM Committee) is holding a ragwort removal working bee at Elizabeth Bay. The work is supported by Hydro.

When: February 10th and 11th 2018, 9-4pm Saturday, 9-1pm Sunday

Where: Meet at Boundary Bay boat ramp at 9am for boat travellers.

Meet at Elizabeth Bay at 10am if travelling in by 4WD (on shore south of Howell’s Neck)

Accommodation: We have booked the Inland Fisheries Hostel at Liawenee which has accommodation inside and the option to camp outside. 4WDer’s working at Elizabeth Bay may also elect to camp there.

Food: We will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch Sunday as well as drinking water.

Wear/Bring: Sturdy shoes, sun hat, long trousers, long sleeves, gardening gloves (if you have some handy), day pack and rain coat.
