LCA

The Lulworth Community Association (LCA) is made up of locals and friends from the Lulworth and Tam O' Shanter Bay area. The association keeps the community informed about local issues and community events and regularly holds meetings throughout the year. The Annual General Meeting of the association is held on the Sunday of the March long weekend.

The LCA receive an annual donation from the George Town Council and other grants (ie LAP) that is used on enhancing and improving our community. The work our members do includes things like eradicating invasive weeds (Sea Spurge), revegetating bushland, preventing erosion (Track Upgrades), cleaning up beaches (Clean Up Australia/ Tama Day) and much more.

The LCA also liaise with other agencies through the George Town Coastal Community Management Group to protect, enhance and sustainably manage the natural values of our coastal area for recreation and conservation into the future.

The LCA keep in touch and provide information to members via the community notice board which is located at the top of Beach Street, Lulworth. There is also a community facebook page (Lulworth Community Association) and a current email list of approximately 120 recipients.

If you love "Tama" as much as we do or would like to join the association we always welcome new members. The annual membership is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family
