With the snow looking likely to remain about for several more weeks, it seemed best to avoid the high country for the work planned above Lake Nicholls this month.  The likely replacement task is to install a temporary fence to protect a revegetating area.

 There is an upgrade going on for the track to Russell Falls which has involved an impact on the area behind the visitor centre where materials and vehicles have been working. The area is being revegetated and cleaned up and a temporary fence is needed to allow better recovery.    Picket stakes and wiring needs to be installed along the boundary of the area and it is proposed that this task be carried out on this working bee.
