Last year we had a tremendous turn out to help plant more than 700 trees,  all from seed collected and propagated by the group as a fund raiser for the viewing platform at Marion bay

Many of the trees have done tremendously well in spite of extreme drought conditions for the first part of their lives (see attached images taken last Sunday).

There have however been the inevitable failures  and the wildlife has done their best to get at the new growth.

We have some additional trees that are left over from the summer sales. So we would like to replace any losses and repair tree guards where necessary.

For any of you that planted a row last year we can see who has been the most successful

There will even be a prize in it for the most successful row.

It will be interesting to see what species have done the best too.
