Wynyard Landcare

Wynyard Landcare has been active along the North-West Coast for over twenty-five years. We are an active group with knowledgable members in many areas of conservation work. The group's main focuses are coastal and riparian rehabilitation and revegetation. The riparian areas we have been working in include the Inglis River walking track, French's Road Reserve, and Camp Creek. We are currently working on roadside reserves concerning threatened plant species along Sisters Beach Road. We liaise with Wynyard council for expertise and coordinated revegetation and weed control. Anyone interested in learning about their local environment, or who would like to get involved in local conservation activities, is encouraged to come along to one of our working bees!
