Join the Launceston/Tamar Locals Group on International Permaculture Day for a Permablitz in South Launceston.

Build on existing fruit tree guilds to create a productive food forest area, incorporating an easy maintenance worm farm.
Main Activities:
1.) Weed and prune existing fruit tree guild beds in preparation for planting understory companions
2.) Create nutrient rich compost for deep layer mulching and water retention
3.) Planting of various food forest layer plants to compliment and benefit the existing fruit trees
4.) Build and set up worm farm
