Tas Land Conservancy - Egg Island Reserve working bee

Does the idea of boating along the Huon river, experiencing beautiful scenery and achieving conservation with a team of great folk sound good to you?

Then join the Tasmanian Land Conservancy (TLC) in its eighth year of controlling Spanish heath on Egg Islands Reserve. Invasive weeds don't belong in this important natural area, so we need your help to stop it from spreading.

We will be locating and hand-pulling small Spanish heath plants in the wetlands and saltmarshes of the Egg Islands Reserve. We may also encounter gorse and blackberry weeds, which we will also treat. For more information and to register.
