Join Risen Group for their weekly working bee. 

Risen Group focuses on conserving the natural habitats of plants and animals and respecting the rights of local communities.

They work on sustainable timber harvesting and forest conservation, emphasising the social, environmental and economic aspects of harvesting. 

They have an existing olive grove and are incorporating grazing as part of their soil management program to control erosion and reduce the impact of rain falling on bare soil and wind removing soil particles.  Growing and harvesting olives provides income opportunities whilst managing soil erosion.
