Friends of Peter Murrell Reserve Clean Up Australia Day

Peter Murrell Reserves are well known for its beautiful wildflower display, being rich in birdlife and mammals and having a variety of tracks catering for different users.

The reserve is cared for by PWS and the Friends of Peter Murrell, who invite you to attend a Clean Up Australia Day event to minimise the amount of rubbish in the reserve. This will focus on rubbish hot-spots inclduing creeks, drains, tracks and carparks around the reserve that are affected by rubbish.

The meeting point is in a carpark is down an unnamed dirt road in between the Institute of Mine Seismology (50 Huntingfield Ave) and Kingsgate Circuit in Hungtingfield. The carpark has previously been known as the Vodaphone carpark. A banner or marker will be situated at the corner of this road and Huntingfield Avenue one the day to assist those in finding the starting point.
