Friends of Sandy Bay Rivulet

The basic objects of the Friends of Sandy Bay Rivulet Inc are to conserve, restore, improve and celebrate the cultural, social and environmental objects of he Sandy Bay Rivulet and its environs.

Our activities include regular monthly working bees on the 3rd Sunday in the month, from 9.30 - 11.30 am. We provide the necessary tools and gloves, and everyone is welcome.   During these working bees we are active in several areas along the Rivulet planting out native plants, weeding and mulching.  We also prepare and distribute occasional community newsletters.  Our activities are financed by Landcare membership, by donations from members and friends,  and by applying for grants, and we work cooperatively with the Hobart City Council and other relevant authorities in the interest of the Rivulet.

Working Bees:  We meet on the 3rd Sunday every month, from 9.30 - 11.30 am.  Gloves and tools are supplied and helpers are welcome.  We work at various sites along the Sandy Bay Rivulet, often near Fitzroy Gardens.  More information from our Secretary/Contact person.
