Lilydale Landcare is a fairly active group concerned with caring for the environment in the Lilydale and surrounding areas. Regular working bees are held at Merthyr Park, which it maintains in conjunction with the Launceston City Council, 'ragwort' raids, mutual interest workshops relating to small holdings and regular dissemination of related information.
