Daly Potato farm
We are a farming family in the south east of Tasmania with volunteers able to help with our Landcare projects. After the bush fires in 2013 we lost a lot of trees and fences in our area. I'm hoping by replanting trees we can contain better soil moisture, stop soil blowing and protect our cattle from the harsh conditions.
We are addressing the following issues: Soil health, Soil carbon, Salinity, Water efficiency, Erosion, Threatened species, Climate change, Planting / Restoring Native Vegetation, Fire Management.
