Sea Spurge pulling at Two Mile Beach
Join Marion Bay Coastcare for their next working bee
This is a follow up to our September activity where we were confronted with a more plants then we have seen in many years with over 1100 plants, mostly seedlings.
On recent visits we have been contending with an infestation closer to the southern end of the beach. This will be the focus of today although we will be encouraging those who want a good walk to target known sites further along the beach too. There is also a reported new infestation close to the creek at the southern end.
We will meet at the Dunalley Canal opposite the bakery, and will car pool to the access point at the Lagoon Bay end of the beach.
What to bring: Warm clothes including a beanie and a drink, snack for a picnic. Gloves supplied
