Join Mount Rumney Landcare Inc. to discover the wildlife and their habitats on the Canopus Centauri Bushland Reserve

We will be joined by Andy Welling from Enviro-dynamics environmental consultancy will chat about the local flora and wildlife (including bats, reptiles, and insects) found in our local Centauri-Canopus Bushland Reserve.

Importantly we are also privileged to have Mike Newman, a nationally recognized bushland and shorebird lover, scientist and researcher from Birdlife Tasmania to chat about and identify our local bushland birds found in the Mt Rumney region. He will also reveal his recent research findings concerning downward population trends of our local bushland birds and potential for residents to help with the monitoring of our local bushland birds.
