Clean Up Whitewater Creek

Our local creek is home to a number of platypus and other native animals. It is also a lovely place to walk. The plants along the creek edge cool and clean the water before it flows into the Derwent. 

Please come and join the newly formed Landcare group and Council as we clean up the rubbish in Whitewater creek. In the last few years three platypus have been seen with rubbish around their necks- lets make sure another does not have to suffer the same. 
Hot drinks and a snack provided by Kingborough Council. Please bring gloves if you have a pair, some will be available on the day.
