Run by the Seymour Community Action Group Inc. - Come to the FIeld Day and working bee at Seymour on the 18th of May to help restore the wetlands and shorebirds of Seymour, and meet the artists behind the book 'The Voice of Water'.
Description:
10.30 AM - Meet at Seymour Swamp Car Park on Champ St, Long Point, Seymour TAS - 15 kilometres north of Bicheno.
11.30 AM - Working Bee - come equipped for cutting and pasting of gorse and other weeds
12.30 PM - BBQ Lunch and guest speakers including Todd Duddley, a North East Bio Regional Network Restoration Consultant, Sue Lovegrove and Adrienne Eberhard, authors of 'The Voice of Water' a book about sensory perceptions of transient wetlands, and Peter Stronach on Landcare Tasmania's 25th Anniversary
2.00 PM - Continue with working bee
3.00 PM - Afternoon tea.
