Southern Beaches Landcare/Coastcare Inc.
Our group has been working on conservation of coastal land in the Sorell municipality since 1991. We care for the special habitats and coastal environment from Lewisham, Forcett, Dodges Ferry, Carlton, Primrose Sands and Connelly's Marsh.
We hold regular working bees, manage local reserves and run projects to restore habitat and protect the natural values of the area.
- Southern Beaches Landcare Coastcare group holds working bees on the third Saturday most months.
- Primrose Sands Group holds working bees on the first Saturday of the month (contact Chris 0419 575017) and Clean Up
- Southern Beaches Group working bees are held on the fourth Sunday (contact Ian or Gail - (03) 6265 8758).
