Tamar NRM Soils Health Discussion Group Day 2

Funding courtesy of Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) has enabled Tamar NRM to participate in
a national pilot project looking at creating and maintaining healthy soils.

The Tamar Valley is to be one of eleven soils discussion groups supported through MLA funding, across New South
Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.

Tamar NRM is seeking interest from landholders to commit to attending 3 soil discussion events
all held within a fortnight of each other, over August-September 2020. You will be developing
skills in soil management (For example, Interpreting a soil test or prioritising fertiliser investment
across varying farm scenarios), and at the same time getting the opportunity to have your
property's soil assessed for health and productivity limitations.

There is no fee for participating and sessions will by around 3-4 hours in duration with plenty of
on farm visits.

Register your interest for the discussion groups, contact the organisers below, and check out Tamar NRMs website and events calendar for more.
