Trevallyn Reserve BioBlitz
You are invited to the Trevallyn BioBlitz!
The Trevallyn Reserve BioBlitz is a festival of science in nature that will provide useful scientific data to land managers while also being fun, enjoyable and meaningful to the community.
The Trevallyn BioBlitz is a collaboration between scientists, naturalists, students and the general community coming together to undertake a range of flora and fauna surveys.
It will develop the community’s knowledge of, and skills in, the natural sciences and increase community understanding of the importance of biodiversity and improve connection to the local environment.
Who is the BioBlitz Team?
The program is coordinated by the Tamar NRM staff. We then have a wonderful team of knowledgeable locals that will lead the surveys including; Greg Lundstrom, Roy Skabo, Anna Povey, Simon Fearn, David Maynard and John Douglas. We also have a great team of volunteers from The Friends of Trevallyn Reserve that will provide support throughout the Blitz.
