Albion Heights Working Bee

Albion Heights Landcare Group welcomes new members to their group who have recently moved into the Albion Heights neighbourhood. They are keen to meet other members of the community. 

Equipment is supplied by Landcare and Kingborough Council including, gloves, safety vests, safety glasses, secateurs, hand saws, loppers, belted tool holders, rakes, picks, flat weeder and weed dabbers. We usually have coffee and cake afterwards so its not all work.  Bring your friends and neighbours! 

We are pleased to be resuming our AHLG weeding activities after a long delay.

Some Covid safety reminders follow:
1. Please do not attend is you are unwell or have been in contact with anyone who is unwell.

2. Hand sanitiser will be provided for use before, during and after the working bee.

3. We will not be able to share tools, equipment or PPE

4. You will be provided with your own PPE (gloves, safety glasses and safety vest) for use at each AHLG working bee.

5. An attendance register will be used for your details and emergency contact details.

6. You will be provided with a safety briefing including a requirement to maintain appropriate physical distancing.
