To celebrate the anniversary we are holding an event on Rosny Hill on Sunday 21 October between 10.30 and 12.30. We are planning a photo display, sausage sizzle, cake cutting ceremony and guided walks for bird watching, fauna and flora. Hopefully some endangered orchids will be in flower!
Rosny Montagu Bay Landcare and Coastcare Group holds regular working bees usually on the third Sunday of the month from February to November. We work in the Rosny Hill Nature Recreation Area and Rosny/Montagu Bay Foreshore Reserve restoring native bushland through removal of environmental weeds and planting endemic grasses, shrubs and trees.
Landcare Tasmania works to represent, support, strengthen and grow community Landcare. Landcare Tasmania has more than 300 member groups across the state, representing over 5,000 Tasmanians.
