Our regular working bees are run on the 2nd Sunday of every month. This is the perfect opportunity for those looking to kick start their involvement in Landcare and for you to enjoy the beauty of the Bridgewater Foreshore with people from your community.
Our aim is to restore the Bridgewater Foreshore by removing weeds, revegetating the landscape, monitoring for threatened species and removing rubbish.
All ages, backgrounds and skill levels are welcome to volunteer with us. You do not need any prior knowledge we will teach you about native plants, weeds and regeneration on the day.
Come prepared for rain, hail or shine! (We recommend long sleeves & pants, wet weather gear, closed shoes, a hat and a water bottle). We will provide gloves and tools
Meet our Coordinator Bill Harvey at the Bridgewater Parkland car park, near the Material Insitute at 10am.
Contact Landcare Tasmania if you had any questions.
