North Esk at St Leonards Rivercare Group is maintaining recent work, e.g. watering and weeding trees planted beside river. We have plans to address riverbank erosion, plant windbreaks, and eliminate gorse. We aim to to reestablish a healthy riparian zone and prevent further river erosion. We addressed extensive river bank damage from the 2016 flood event.
