Snake Awareness Day - understanding snake behaviour and first aid
Snake Awareness Day
Sunday 10th Sept, Cremorne Bowls & Community Club
(2 x repeat sessions: 10:30 – 12:30 *Lunch * 1:30 – 3:30)
Snake season is upon us but don’t get alarmed get educated!
Know what to do if you come across a snake and learn lifesaving first aid skills.
Pipe Clay Coastcare is hosting a SNAKE AWARENESS DAY with expert snake handlers Tas Reptilia thanks to a Clarence Council Community Grant.
This is a great day for all ages. We especially want to inspire our youth volunteers to get on board with first aid but absolutely EVERYONE will gain from this day.
There will be both a morning and afternoon session with hot beverages and lunch available by Pavan Catering (allowing time for the snakes and legged reptile friends a rest).
This is a free event. See the flyer for details. Contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Hope to see you there.
