Director vacancies on Landcare Tasmania Board

January 2020

Landcare Tasmania is seeking expressions of interest for Directors to fill casual vacancies on our Board.

This an exciting time for community Landcare in Tasmania. In 2019 we celebrated our 25th anniversary and realised a number of other major initiatives. In 2020 and beyond there is a great opportunity to build on this foundation so that more Tasmanians become actively involved, and supported, in caring for the environment and sustainability challenges they face.

This will require Directors with commitment and passion, and skills in key areas needed to envision, create and guide the future of community Landcare in Tasmania.

Landcare Tasmania's Board is responsible for ensuring the proper management of the affairs of our organisation. The Board consists of 7 Directors, each with a normal term of 3 years for a maximum of 2 terms. Positions on the Board are honorary. You'll be working alongside a great bunch of people committed to building on the unique strengths of community Landcare to continue to make a difference to Tasmania's bush, farms, rivers, coast, wildlife and towns.
