May Working Bee.
The Clifton Beach Coastal Reserve includes the beach and the coastal dunes behind the central and eastern part of the beach. These dunes extend 300 m inland, rising to more than 20 m, with dense vegetation behind. The beach is bounded by the 54 m high Cape Deslacs in the east and 50 m high rocky cliffs in the west. These cliffs contain mudstone, siltstone, limestone and rich deposits of fossils.
Wildcare Deslacs carries out a range of activities to maintain and enhance the natural values of the Clifton Beach Coastal Reserve.
