It was an amazing turn out for the first Ballawinne Festival last Monday in Cygnet, featuring renowned first nations author Bruce Pascoe on the panel.
The panel discussion was interesting and the crowd was hanging on every word.

Some people on the panel attended despite their own communities and homes being on fire the same day. We applaud you for coming to talk with us about these important things anyway.

We look forward to seeing what comes out of these discussions and the broadening of the communities knowledge on these important issues.

Landcare Tasmania was invited to have a display and chat to those attending Ballawinne - thank you to our volunteers Don and Alistair for helping run the stall!
