Ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work? Let us know below that you are interested in becoming one of our extra hands volunteers. We'll keep your email on file and alert you when there is an opportunity you can help with in your area. You will also receive our monthly newsletter, The Dirty Hands, which includes a list of upcoming events.
Community Groups: Many of our groups undertake the occasional bigger project, which require extra hands. This is a great way to meet people and spend time outside. We can also help you find a local group to join.
Landcare Tasmania Events: Our landscape-scale projects involving several Group and Individual members often require extra hands too. We also run a statewide conference every two years and have a separate call-out for conference volunteers.

Landcare Tasmania Office: Our Hobart office volunteers are essential in making this grassroots not-for-profit the best it can be by contributing to social media, news blog articles, video editing, data entry, mapping, and making phone calls - triaining provided. Tell us in the Comments section which tasks interest you. Volunteering in the office is a great way to gain new skills and learn how a not-for-profit works behind the scenes.
