  • Action Grants Wrap Up

    Over the past 4 years, Landcare Tasmania has delivered four landscape-scale projects through the Tasmanian Government's Landcare Action Grants (LAG). Having recently wrapped up 4 rounds, these grants delivered a total of $335,000 in funding to 50 grant recipients working on 63 project sites across Tasmania.

In partnership with the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) folks joined us at Jansz vineyard to learn from prominent national and state experts on sustainable farms and integrated pest management with a viticulture focus.

  • Project Launch: Plantation Restoration Workshop

    Last Saturday 30th April, an amazing 31 attendees gathered in Saltwater River to kick off Landcare Tasmania’s 2022 South East Landscape Project with a plantation restoration workshop. The event gathered beginners and experienced Landcarers alike for a day which was both enjoyable and educational, spent learning the value of restoring degraded landscapes with diverse, native vegetation.
