Shop Volunteer
As a 'Shop Vollie' you will support Landcare Tasmania's fundraising goals through retail sales.
Help us pack and post online shop orders, maintain our online shop, and prepare and pack stock for postage. There are opportunities to help us build new sources of fundraising by engaging with local business and working with our team to implement a new fundraising strategy. There are also opportunities to conduct in-person sales at events.
LOCATION: Hobart Office at 3/65 Murray St
COMMITMENT: 2-6 hours per week, ongoing according to volunteer availability, with a preferred minimum term of 3 months
BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER: Gain experience in e-commerce and order fulfillment; working in an ENGO office environment; opportunity to play a key role in fundraising for an environmental not-for-profit; opportunities for self-direction and creativity; referee for your resume.
VALUABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES: Excellent computer literacy skills; e-commerce experience; graphic design and or/copywriting skills; good organization and attention to detail; entrepreneurial mindset to grow sales and fundraising opportunities; sales experience

Data Entry Volunteer
As a Data Entry Vollie, you will help us update information in our data management systems, from adding new landcare projects to our project map, to helping us maintain accurate data through various data clean up procedures.
LOCATION: Hobart Office at 3/65 Murray St or remotely upon request (initial training period in-office)
COMMITMENT: 2-6 hours per week, ongoing according to volunteer availability, with a preferred minimum term of 3 months
BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER: Gain proficiency in using our Customer Relationships Manager; Experience gained in the ENGO office environment; acquiring a broad knowledge of community Landcare; referee for your resume.
VALUABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES: Excellent computer literacy skills; experience using excel; interest in Landcare

Communications Volunteer
As a Comms Vollie you will help Landcare Tasmania maintain an engaging and representative media presence. Help us prepare content for our website and social media channels, with opportunities to assist in drafting media releases.
LOCATION: Hobart Office at 3/65 Murray St or remotely upon request (initial training period in-office)
COMMITMENT: 2-4 hours per week, ongoing according to volunteer availability, with a preferred minimum term of 3 months
BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER: Experienced gained in the ENGO office environment; learning about key environmental issues; acquiring a broad knowledge of community Landcare activities; opportunities for self-direction and creativity; communications and social media marketing experience; referee for your resume.
VALUEABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES: Studies or experience in: Journalism, communications or marketing; environmental management or similar; exceptional written communication skills; familiar with and enjoys social media; interest in Landcare.

Member Engagement Volunteer (phone)
Do you have a great phone manner and would love to chat to Landcarers across the State? Help us make phone calls to our members, events attendees and donors.

COMMITMENT: 2-6 hours fortnightly, ongoing according to volunteer availability, with a preferred minimum term of 3 months
BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER: Learning how a not-for-profit works behind the scenes, chatting to amazing Landcarers all over the state doing inspiring Landcare work, supporting a good cause
VALUABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES: Excellent phone manner; good computer literacy; interest in Landcare; enthusiastic; loves a good chat
