Friends of Burnie Penguins Inc.
Friends of Burnie Penguins aims:
- To provide an educational experience and supervised penguin viewing for visitors to the Parsonage Point Little Penguin colony nightly from October 1st to March 31st.
- To maintain and enhance the protection and the habitat of the Parsonage Point colony and management of the colony and the immediate foreshore by holding working bees in the nonbreeding season.
- To participate in monitoring, research, and increasing the knowledge of the Little Penguin colony.
Regular Events:
Guiding during the summer months after a two day training program and also working bees during the winter months
