 Friends of Burnie Penguins aims:To provide an educational experience and supervised penguin viewing for visitors to the Parsonage Point Little Penguin colony nightly from October 1st to March 31st.To maintain and enhance the protection and the habitat of the Parsonage Point colony and management of the colony and the immediate foreshore by holding working bees in the nonbreeding season.To participate in monitoring, research, and increasing the knowledge of the Little Penguin colony.

Regular events:

Guiding during the summer months after a two day training program and also working bees during the winter months

How to join this organisation:

Friends of Burnie Penguins does training for new volunteer guides every September. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer guide or would like more information please contact the group via email [email protected]
