North East Tasmanian Land Trust
The North East Tasmania Land Trust Inc aims to protect, conserve and enhance the natural environment through the acquisition and management of land of ecological value, conservation covenants, and public education programmes in North East Tasmania. NETLT is registered on the Register of Environmental Organisations and has tax deductibility status for donations over $2. In 2016 NETLT received a gift of land at Diana's Basin, near St Helens. The organisation also carries out a fauna monitoring programme on Stoney Farm, a block of land near the South Sister (near St Marys) in conjunction with the Tasmanian Land Conservancy.
