Tasmanian Bushland Garden

We are a not for profit incorporated registered environmental organisation.  We own and manage the Tasmanian Bushland Garden which is on the Tasman Highway approx 4km west of Buckland.  We have a 40 ha site which was originally and old quarry.  There is a formal garden area of approx 2 ha which showcases the indigenous flora of South East Tasmania.  The gardens are open 365 days a year and entry is free.  We have provided a children's play area, electric BBQ, a shelter and picnic tables and toilet facilities for visitor use.  There are marked walking tracks through the rest of the site which meander through the local bush.  We have regular working bees and new participants are welcome.  More information is on our website at
