Derwent Avenue Group
The Derwent Avenue Group maintain the Dave Burrows Walk - a narrow bush track in a coastal reserve south east of Margate. Our aim is to preserve it's natural values and recreational opportunities as a Community asset, to improve habitat for animals and plants, and create a healthy bushland which can regenerate itself. The group consists of local residents and regular working bees are held for ongoing track maintenance and weeding. The Group is supported by the Kingborough Council.
