About the event

This event is a special opportunity for Landcare Group convenors (or a representative from your Landcare group) and individual Landcare members from the Circular Head, Waratah-Wynyard, Burnie and Central Coast municipalities to meet with each other, Landcare Tasmania, various Council natural resource management staff, First Nations representatives, Cradle Coast NRM and PWS coordinators to discuss how to collaborate on priority projects, events and training. This networking event aims to improve the communication channels and coordinate efforts between Landcare members and natural resource management organisations, resulting in projects submitted to Landcare Tasmania's Project Bank that improve habitat, biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and ecosystem services.

What to expect

The day will include short presentations from each organisation on priorities in the region and how Landcare members can access advice, support and partnerships. We will hear from Landcare groups and their experience working with councils on projects and Landcare Tasmania staff will also outline the Project Bank process.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
