Join researchers from CSIRO, Landcare Tasmania and a local weed expert for an afternoon learning about African boxthorn management and biological control.

You'll hear from:

  • Dr Ben Gooden from CSIRO - how to correctly release and monitor the new nationally-approved African Boxthorn rust fungus (Puccinia rapipes) biocontrol.
  • Landcare Tasmania - what support you can get to manage woody weedy on your property.
  • Axel Meiss, weed expert - other physical and mechanical method for control to manage African Boxthorn.
