Our regular working bees are run on the 2nd Sunday of every month. This month we will be planting 100 native plants in celebration of Mothers Day. Come down with your family to get your hands dirty! Landcaring is a great way to bring the family together, and provides many benefits for your wellbeing and mental health.
Our aim is to restore the Bridgewater Foreshore by removing weeds, revegetating the landscape, monitoring for threatened species and removing rubbish.
All ages, backgrounds and skill levels are welcome to volunteer with us. You do not need any prior knowledge we will teach you about native plants, weeds and regeneration on the day.
Come prepared for rain, hail or shine! (We recommend long sleeves & pants, wet weather gear, closed shoes, a hat and a water bottle). We will provide gloves and tools
Meet our Coordinator Bill Harvey at the Bridgewater Parkland car park at 10am.
Contact Landcare Tasmania if you had any questions.
