Bicheno Landcare is actively enacting a simple 5 year plan for the restoration of Bicheno and surrounding areas, including weed removal, mulching and replanting with local provenance plants and continuing to keep weed free till native cover copes. We aim to build a vibrant =, active core of people that want to make a difference, and engage with local landholders to educate them and assist with their weed control to establish sustainability of our efforts. We raise community awareness of the impact of weeds on diversity and visual amenity, and provide and promote local provenance plants as an option to conventional nursery stock.

Our meetings are held weekly on Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00am during daylight savings, and 10:00 to 12:00 outside daylight savings. These meetings are held at sites across Bicheno, for more info get in touch!
