Tasmanian Climate Collective

TCC VISION lutruwita Tasmania is a world leader on climate action, prioritising environment and people
TCC PURPOSE Tasmanian Climate Collective connects groups and individuals to encourage, promote and initiate climate action across lutruwita Tasmania through cooperation, influence and knowledge sharing.
Tasmanian Climate Collective is made up of climate action, social and environmental groups and grassroots organisations who recognise that more ambitious action on climate change is needed for the common good. With a united voice, we can be stronger together when advocating for action and supports to reduce the impacts of climate change.
We are a not for profit community group that is not aligned with any political party, and we are currently in the process of becoming an incorporated association. We hold monthly zoom meetings and have worked together to deliver various activities such as awareness raising stalls, vote climate rally, scorecards of political candidates (federal) and to write articles and letters to the editor on various climate related issues.
Our core group of approx 10-15 regularly attend meetings, and we have a wider group of approx 50 who engage in our Slack platform to share information.
