Permaculture Tasmania

Permaculture Tasmania is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation created to promote Permaculture knowledge and practices. We aim to encourage discussion on Permaculture practices and activities across Tasmania and Australia, sharing ideas, skills and building community networks.
We also have a network of local groups to encourage sharing skills, knowledge and building of networks in geographical areas – building community sufficiency. These informal groups run regular (often monthly) skills share and social gatherings, film nights, and other activities with most events low or no cost. There are currently seven Permaculture Tasmania local groups:
- Break O Day/East Coast
- Huon Valley
- Launceston and Tamar Valley
- Meander and Northern Midlands
- North West Coast via the Reseed Centre, Penguin
- D'Entrecasteaux Channel (new)
- Hobart Eastern Shore (new)
