Methods
We are very keen to take advice from Landcare within its Dam Enhancement Project. We will consult with NRM south, our neighbours in our local Landcare group and Huon Valley Council's NRM department. We are in contact with a pair of young people who have been taking water management courses and qualifications with a view to advising landowners and undertaking on-ground works. We envisage doing these works in conjunction with them such that they improve their learning and practical skills and we provide labour and a monetary commitment, with the overall outcome of improving wildlife habitat and climate resiliency.

More water stored on-farm will provide business and environmental resiliency in a changing climate.More and enhanced dams will provide increased habitat and water security for native animals and plants.On-farm workshop will improve neighbourhood knowledge in how to best manage water on-farm and improve habitats for wildlife.Case history and social media posts will help others learn from our mistakes and successes.
