Beerbarrell beach is a popular beach which needs some management attention. The funding will be used to better manage vehicle movement and parking, pedestrian movement and to make people more aware of the natural values of the area. This will lead to recovery of native vegetation and increased understanding and appreciation of the area.
Natural Values
The project will help protect and restore fragile coastal vegetation as well as increasing understanding of the conservation value of threatened native shorebirds such as the EPBC listed Hooded Plover
