Finally finish cleaning away blackberries and buzzies around 3 dams that came with flooding in 2016 along the Mersey river, the dams also overflow into the Mersey river allowing these weeds to spread. We also plan to continue planting native species in cleared areas.
Methods
In three stages: grubbing out the bulk of blackberries, mowing cleared areas of regrowth, and replanting/mulching cleared areas
Natural Values
It will protect 3 dams that breed giant crayfish and playtpus. It will make maintaining around these areas easier plus allow easier access for wildlife. Make for a peaceful environment, and a demonstration of proper land management
